Actually,I have an example. Before I tell you, I would like to say that I do believe in God (I am not part of a religion however), but I also believe in the fundamentals of rationalism and reason (atheism). Therefore, I believe that there is room for both faith and rationalism (again, both to a certain extent, because working in absolutes is a binding situation that can cause major logical errors from an philosophical argument standpoint).
Someone mentioned this above, and this p...
From my viewpoint its a different experience. Grinding isn't the focus for Guild Wars (the level cap is 20). So, PvE is more driven through the skill of each player rather than what level you are. Additionally, since the inception of Heroes, nearly everything (to a certain existent everything) can be done on your own if you don't trust PUGs. Being able to micromanage the hero's skills is definitely a plus, although some people believe that Heroes destroyed a lot of the fun of PUGs. Moreover, ...
Not cool NCSoft. I have waited very long for a beta and have been consistently playing Guild Wars patiently these past few years. Guild Wars 2 better blow me away :P (I'm sure it will, since I have faith in ArenaNet). Oh well, a few more trips through Domain of Anguish, The Deep, Urgoz Warren, and some of the elite dungeons will have to satisfy me until 2010...sometime....
I don't understand what is with all the Wal-Mart hate. Do people not want standard goods at the lowest possible price? I mean, all the other competitors hate Wal-Mart, but they are doing us a service for providing stuff at really competitive prices.
Like I mentioned above, the whole purpose of vgchartz is to FORECAST. It says it explicitly in their objective and mission, which is to provide estimates of what the sales numbers will be. Also refer to my above comment for more details about why vgchartz isn't crap like some people make it out to be.
So what do you expect? Do you want vgchartz to be 100% accurate, down to every single system sold from every single store across the world? Including the single one sold in Antarctica that no one can possibly track? Because I will tell you this, no one can track sales 100%. I've heard NDP doesn't include some retailers such as Wal-Mart. Hence, does that make it wrong as well because it isn't 100% accurate?
Also, what vgchartz does is FORECASTING. As a result, they are not 100% ac...
You understand that in reality, robots are clunky and slow moving? So I don't see the problem here if they are trying to project a more realistic approach (Mecha aren't even viable in the real world to begin with).
On Topic: Personally, I loved the original Armored Core on PSOne. The only drawback for me was the fact that the story was nonexistent. I am sure that if this developer can maintain the customization aspects from Armored Core and add in a storyline, then this game wil...
I think Dead Space and Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly would make a list of all time scary games for Halloween.
Hulu won't be free starting next year unfortunately, the parent company that owns Hulu will begin charging a fee for usage.
Wow, that powerpoint video in the article is very well done (no joke). That guy has definitely researched his stuff and presented it in a very easy to understand way.
The PS3 version looks a little blurred, but this could be due to the Quincunx AA. But honestly, its not a deal breaker for me because the differences won't be noticeable 99% of the time.
Good eye, that definitely looks to be the case. I guess that disproves a lot of other people's theories here.
And it also looks like the SLS-AMG will be on the cover art! Awesome, my guess was right! lol
Go to the "About Us" link at the bottom of the website. It tells you what methodology they use and how they get the information. From a traditional standpoint, it would seem VGChartz gets the majority of their data from trend/historical analysis. For instance, observing how much of a jump the second iteration of a game makes compared to the first.
Bases on those percentages and whatever numbers they derive, they can apply it to other franchises and consoles (i.e. Uncha...
I second that, Go Patriots!
Atatatatatatatatata! You're already dead!
Make it so Kojima...make it so.
I'll be fighting for the title of #1 Bryan Fury player, heh.
I think my head is going to explode, lol. I demand more information! Like a release date and maybe a trailer!
A Tesla!! No. In all seriousness I would have like to see the Audi R8 on the cover of GT5. Unfortunately, F3 used it for their cover art >.< My second pick would be the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Another drool worthy car.
Cool, I guess I misinterpreted your previous argument a bit, but now I completely understand. I agree with everything you said and it is very interesting to see past all of the fallacies that are covering what is truly being said. Again, well said.
